Replacing Tyrod Taylor will be hard, but sophomore quarterback Logan Thomas has all the tools to be as good as any Virginia Tech quarterback outside of Michael Vick. Sorry folks, I am not jumping the gun and giving up on Vick just yet, especially because he still is one of the most electrifying players to ever put on cleats. Head coach Frank Beamer knows how to recruit, and he has always gone after very efficient, dual threat quarterbacks who might not be the highest rated, but they fit and run the Hokies system to perfection. For Virginia Tech to compete with Miami(FL) this year, Thomas will have to step up and take over as the leader of the team and take away the question mark that some say is at the quarterback position in Blacksburg.
