#18- Jeffrey Godfrey/ Quarterback/ UCF Knights/ Sophomore
Out of the top 40 quarterback prospects coming into the season last year, I saw tape on Jeffrey Godfrey and saw as much or more talent than anybody above him. That being said, he was #32 overall prospect at QB, but that doesn't mean much besides the kids ahead of him were better high school players. Since he surprised everybody and chose to attend Central Florida, immediately after singing with UCF, Godfrey was the biggest win the program had ever captured on or off the field. His talent got him on the field as a true freshman, and the gifted youngster threw for 2,159 yards with a 13/8 touchdown to interception ratio (66% , 154.3 QB rating). He also ran for 566 yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground. Going into his sophomore season in Orlando, Godfrey looks poised to have a special year and should be considered one of the 10 best dual threat quarterbacks in college football this year.
