#20- Phillip Sims/ Quarterback/ Alabama Crimson Tide/ RS Freshman
Like Alabama needs any more talent for Nick Saban to turn into gold! Regardless, he is a master recruiter and signed the #1 overall quarterback Phillip Sims coming out of high school last year, giving the Tide what they need for the future. A dual threat quarterback who has 4 years of eligibility. For Sims, he is coming into the year in a heated battle for the starting role with another highly touted slinger, sophomore A.J McCarron. Saban likes what he sees from both signal callers, as they each bring different skill sets to the position and surely will give both guys meaningful snaps and experience this year. Another dominant year for Bama rests on the right arm of Sims or McCarron, likely both.
